ITpro.fi has yet another blogspace for me :-o
If you happen to be Finnish, take a look at the new ITpro.fi community site aimed at bringing together all Finnish IT professionals. It's a long way to go, but at least there's a serious effort – something we haven't really seen before in this field. Oh, and if you're a techno-geek, you might want to know that the site is entirely built with MOSS2007…
I'm a member of the Software Development Expert Group on the site, so you can also find some of my writings in the group blog. This doesn't mean I'm abandoning my personal webspace though. I'll come up with a reasonable publishing plan one day. It won't mean regular updates, but it'll mean a rational approach to this multitude of publishing media I seem to have at my disposal.

The pages don't specify the role of Microsoft in funding and founding the forum, but J2EE and Symbian are glaringly absent from the topics. Also the colors of ITpro logo remind me of the 4-color windows logo.
Nothing wrong with that in itself; Symbian and J2EE have their own forums. It's just that if it is Microsoft-only, it is better to say it directly, so that other platform developers can go away quickly.
PS. Non-platform-specific posts like the link to Fowler's article on continuous integration is the reason I read this blog even if the Microsoft stuff isn't relevant for me now.

I can't help thinking that ITpro is not intended to be as Redmondian as it looks; it's just that the natural interests of the parties behind it are Microsoft oriented. As far as I know, Microsoft doesn't support ITpro financially, but I could be mistaken.
The ITpro logo, by the way, is the default icon for Microsoft's Sharepoint Product. That probably intentionally reminds us of the Windows logo though. ;-)
