About
The writer of this blog is Jouni Heikniemi, CEO and consultant in a four-person consultancy, Offbeat Solutions (www.offbeat.fi if you read Finnish). We work with Microsoft .NET and a multitude of process/business problems. While each of us is a crack software developer, we take pride in looking at problems first and foremost on the business level, using technology only as the tool as it was originally intended.
Before founding Offbeat, I was the CTO of Blue Meteorite Ltd., a Finnish SharePoint consultancy I helped grow from 15 to 80 people during the years. During my career, I have worked in all sorts of roles in software development, project management and team leading in general.

Hi Jouni,
My name is Iris and I'm currently doing web promotion for my client. I was wondering if you're willing to do a blog post for them on heikniemi.net/hardcoded. My client is willing to offer $50 for this blog post. We can also provide the blog post content according to your guidelines.
If you're interested, payments are sent via paypal. Or if you have a different proposal, let me know and let's see how we could work things out.
Thanks in advance,
Iris

For the record, no thanks. There's nothing like integrity.

Hi Jouni,
my name is Tilman Boerner. I am the editor-in-chief of dotnetpro, the leading .NET magazine in the German speaking area.
I would like to translate your .NET 4.5-poster into German and publish it in our magazine with mentioning you as the original source and designer. Would that be okay with you?
